Wedding Shoes Glasgow - Frequently Asked Questions

Yes as long as the shoes are intended for dyeing
How would I know if a shoe is dyeable satin?

yes as long as they are intended for dyeing
What do I need to give you to match the colour?
A swatch of your fabric is best, if however it is a colour changing fabric we would ask you to supply us with a bobbin of thread or a small piece of ribbon you think would be the best match, this is easily obtainable from a local haberdashery.
How long does it take?
Our time scale changes all the time during the busy wedding season. We will always endeavour to help even in emergencies.
What happens if it rains on the day?
As with all special shoes care should be taken, if the shoes do get wet there is a risk of watermarking if they have not been treated with a water repellent spray.
Can ivory shoes be cleaned after the event?
Yes please do not do anything to them and bring them in to us.
I have more than one pair of shoes needing dyed should they all be done at the same time?
Yes if possible to ensure the colour is all from the same dye batch.
Are my shoes dyed to daylight?
Yes
Are my shoes sent away?
No we do our own dyeing in the shop.
